December 29, 2009 Farah and Brad's wedding

This was a destination wedding, the guests were all from Wisconsin.

Farah and Brad's wedding was at the beautiful Coconut Cove Resort and Marina. What a beautiful setting for a wedding, could possibly be the most beautiful place on earth to get married. Paula and Magda always seem to put on a flawless event. The wedding ceremony started at 4 PM. Prelude music was played by Bob Lyons, steel drummer. Bob also played in the ceremony and cocktail hour. Our part of the evening started at 6 PM, we played an additional 30 minutes of cocktail hour music. Selections included Jimmy buffet and Alan Jackson.

I introduced the entire wedding party, including parents of the bride and groom. Farrah's mom came in very animated as did the rest of the wedding party to a special remix of I got a feeling by the Black Eyed Peas. After the introductions Farrah and Brad went through the buffet line. Dinner consisted of Caribbean style chicken, steamed veggies, a carving station, assorted bread rolls and pasta and side salads.

The couple danced their first dance after dinner to Shania Twain and Bryan White's "From This Moment." There were no parent dances, as they will do them at their reception in Wisconsin. Party and dance selections included a large variety of country music and today's top 40 selections. The dance floors packed throughout the night and they even extended for an extra hour of overtime. What a great couple and guests! I don't have a safe trip back to Wisconsin.
